The Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler is a four in one kitchen appliance that can function as a contact grill, a panini press, an open grill or a griddle.  This thing really can do it all.  So if you’re one of those people who thinks that buying speciality appliances is a waste because they can only cook one thing, then the Griddler has got you covered.

This is a great looking machine.  It’s made from brushed stainless-steel and should be a nice compliment to any modern kitchen.  Don’t be afraid to leave this baby on the counter all the time.  It’s looks great and you’ll also want to use it all the time.

One of my favorite features about the Griddler is that the cooking plates are dishwasher safe.  That makes clean up a breeze.  Even if you don’t have a dishwasher, the plates are non stick so it still wouldn’t be too bad to clean it.  And those plates also drain the grease away from your food sort of like the George Foreman Grill but the angle isn’t as steep.

The big handle is perfect to getting some leverage if you want to press your panini.  The top of the unit is not cool to the touch so be careful when cooking.  Be sure to use the handle or else you will get a nasty burn.  The hinge also adjusts to the size of whatever you’re cooking.

The multifunctional aspects of this grill really come in handy if you’re low on counter space.  What other appliance could you cook panini sandwiches, hamburgers, grilled cheese, pancakes, fish, vegetables and more?  I really think the Cuisiart Griddler is one of the best multifunctional griddlers on the market today.
